In the material handling industry, precision and hydraulics are two words not commonly associated with one another. When an application calls for the precise handling of materials, a linear actuator is typically used in lieu of a hydraulic based system. However, linear actuators are not without their limitations. Specifically, the force required to start the ascent of materials in numerous lifts applications falls outside the range of linear actuators.
Lift tables with hydraulic cylinders have the force to accomplish a great range of capacities and travel but lack the accuracy in required in many applications, until now. The Precision Focus Control (PFC) by Lift Products is an exclusive design that allows for 2 speed control of hydraulic oil to a cylinder. In a lift table application, the lift and/or lowering of the table can be set at full speed and an alternative slow speed can be set to a crawl, if so desired. With the flip of a simple switch it can go back and forth from fast to slow, allowing you to stop precisely or travel efficiently.

A simple toggle switch allows for the operator to change between high speed and low speed hydraulics on the fly.
The flow rate of hydraulic oil to the cylinder for high and low speeds can be easily adjusted in the field.

Quick and efficent actuation of hydraulic cylinder until precision is needed and can then be slowed to a crawl.
